I-HEAL Study at James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital – Have you experienced a moderate-severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) or are you the care partner of someone with a moderate-severe TBI? Did you or your loved one participate in inpatient rehabilitation in the past 10 years? Are you at least 18 years and older? If so, we believe you may be interested in a paid research study currently being conducted by James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital that is funded by the Department of Defense.

The goal of our study is to learn about 1) your experiences with inpatient rehabilitation and how it may have helped (or not) with behavioral changes after TBI and 2) your recommendations on how to best support the person with TBI and their loved ones to address behavioral changes. Your participation helps us reach this goal as part of USF #STUDY007220. If you are interested in participating or learning more, please contact Natalie Gilmore at 813-606-0273 or VHAIHEALteam @va.gov. We would love to talk to you. Study coordinators will contact you to schedule you at your convenience for a focus
group with persons with similar experience. Participants are paid $50.
